USPA NEWS - This morning, Tuesday, May 14, a prison van, which was handling the transfer of an inmate, was attacked this morning at the Incarville tollbooth in Eure in France, (Between Paris and Normandy). Two prison officers died and three others were injured after the attack. The detainee, Mohamed Amra nicknamed “the fly”, is still on the run with the attackers. He had been convicted thirteen times, and had tried to escape from his cell last Sunday,
Families, friends, as well as an entire profession are in mourning.

Prime Minister Gabriel Attal paid tribute to the two agents killed during the attack on the van by the Belier attack, "by fulfilling their duty", at the National Assembly during the government questions session today. The Ministry of Justice has published a press release which we are publishing, as it was issued, following the very violent and spectacular attack on a prison van which was attacked by several armed men this morning around 11 a.m. at the Incarville toll (Eure). Two prison officers died and three others were injured. The inmate who was transferred via this prison convoy fled with the attackers. This is Mohamed Amra, a 30-year-old man, nicknamed "The Fly", already known to the police and justice services. He had been convicted thirteen times.
